With winter at its peak, the Legal Aid Centre of the University School of Law and Legal Studies has decided to do its bit for the underprivileged of the society by organising a donation drive in order to provide them with the warmth that the rest of us enjoy. The drive will be organised from 19th to 21st of January and students are encouraged to donate their old winter clothing. Those jackets and sweaters that have been in your closets forever may help someone stay warm in the piercing cold of Delhi’s merciless winter. The Legal Aid Centre will set up a donation box at the entrance of C Block from 9 am to 5 pm on all three days; students can donate warm clothing for the poverty-stricken in this donation box. After the donation drive, the clothes will be donated to the needy at various localities in Dwarka on the 22nd and 23rd of January. This is an opportunity for all of us to fulfil our moral and social obligations as responsible citizens.
